The San Rocco district is located in the upper part of Livigno and is like a small village independent from the town centre. The homonymous via Saroch that crosses the whole area is full of commercial activities: ski and bike rentals, ski schools, sports shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and much more. There are numerous bus stops, thanks to which you can easily reach the Doss 18 and San Rocco Ski Area 17 ski lifts, the Carosello 3000 cable car and the Mottolino ski lifts. In San Rocco, there is also the office of the local Tourist Promotion Company, the Plaza Placheda congress centre, a private clinic, and many free car parking. The San Rocco district is more intimate and quiet than the town centre, but well served and full of attractions in the same way. For these reasons, more and more tourists choose to stay in this area to spend their holidays in Livigno.
